As one final Fools Friday post, I wanted to share a video from December 2020 when I received my first proof copy in the mail. This was a special moment for me because it’s the first time I held a physical copy of my book in book form and saw how the cover art would look on the finished version.

Looking back, this was the moment for me when becoming a published author felt real. Where I felt like I had finally achieved the dream. Of course, I’m actively pursuing traditional publication, but it was this moment—holding the proof of Our Company of Fools for the first time—that made my dream feel tangible and achievable.
